Fatboy 68 Maple Cap pickups are made here in my workshop on the Isle of Wight using quality components only.  Wound using a later 60s winding pattern but by hand not machine, onto the bobbin consisting of 0.187" magnets to @ 6.1K - 6.8K, which is a higher reading than you would find on genuine late 60s pickups but this is because of the type of wire and tension used when i build them but the end result is a great set of 'TONED' late 60s pickups. The middle coil is RW/RP which gives you hum cancel in positions 2 & 4. The coils are then dipped into Isle of Wight beeswax/paraffin and connected with 22 gauge cloth wire. The tone is open, clear, airy, defined and very quacky in 2 & 4 positions very much the late 60s tone. This enables you to add to the tone by the use of your hands, FX and amp settings. All sets come with parchment covers, screws and rubber spacers. All pickups come with lifetime warrenty to original purchaser. These pickups can be heard on the video on my home page.
