Fatboy 54 Bakelite pickup set. Hand wound in my workshop on the Isle of Wight using only quality parts. The bobbin is constructed from Alnico 3 magnets using the vintage stagger that was found on the early pickups with a high D pole magnet. The bobbin is then wound with Heavy Formvar 42 gauge wire and set in a mixture of Isle of Wight beeswax and paraffin. The coils are wound to @ 5.8K-6.1K with a RW/RP middle coil for hum cancel in positions 2 & 4.

Tone is Twangy and typical early 50s!

Sets come with NOS bakelite style white covers, screws and rubber spacers. Aged sets have aged bakelite style covers, aged screws and rubber spacers. Fitting instructions and warrenty card included.
